The sun is shining, the days are warming up, and Christmas and the summer holidays are just around the corner. Many of us are looking forward to a break and time spent with family and friends.
But unfortunately, eating disorders don’t take a break.
For many, Christmas is a joyful period. But for people living with an eating disorder, it can be particularly stressful. There is often increased focus on food, noisy or overwhelming social gatherings, and uninvited comments about diet and appearance. Regular professional supports may also be harder to access.
